The Friendship Garden in Bergen is a representative Japanese strolling garden celebrating the centennial anniversary of the Japan-Norway Diplomatic Relationship. Located on the campus of the University of Bergen, the garden encompasses a central pond and incorporates a dry-garden, rock-garden, and tea house arranged within a landscape of native plants and stones.

 

Designed and supervised by Haruto Kobayashi, the garden was installed in collaboration with local gardeners.
